House under construction next door and building under construction opposite! Noise pollution from the morning, dust, polystyrene in the courtyard and swimming pool. Workers with a bird’s eye view of the swimming pool! It was our only vacation of the year, if you had warned us, we would have rented elsewhere! Where we would have stayed at home!! Also a street with a lot of passing cars, surprisingly noisy compared to the out-of-the-way location. We tried to notify you by telephone and email, but we received no response.

The only positive point of the accommodation is the location.

We are a group of 8 adults and, unfortunately, our experience was extremely unpleasant. The main reason for our dissatisfaction is related to a noise monitoring device (Minut sensor) installed in the house. Since October 11th, and during our stay, we have received a total of 12 warning messages, claiming that the noise level exceeded the limit established by this equipment. However, these notifications appeared in absolutely normal social situations, such as breakfast. We consider it completely absurd that 8 people preparing the first meal of the day can generate a level of noise considered noise pollution. Another example is at dinner, where we were in a calm environment, with music in the background, and yet the device continued to issue alerts. In fact, one of the messages we received was a threat to withhold the bail and/or expulsion from the accommodation, which we consider unacceptable. In the Booking advertisement, it is only mentioned that rest hours are from 11pm to 7am, and there is no mention of the prohibition of social gatherings or the existence of a noise sensor. Furthermore, the house has good sound insulation, and with the windows and doors closed, no outside noise can be heard. This house is a triplex, with the bedrooms located on the upper floors, and a living room located on the ground floor, away from critical rest areas. This constant receiving of noise alerts was extremely exhausting and ruined our vacation. Something that we expected to be a moment of relaxation and leisure, became a true nightmare and a stressful and psychologically saturating experience. It's ridiculous that a triplex for 8 people in Albufeira has this type of control, especially considering that nothing about this device is described on the advertisement page.
